[Long ago written off as a sclerotic example of geezer theatre, a dinosaur’s hemorrhoid preserved in 17th Century French amber, the Comédie-Française has just oozed back into the Parisian public’s soddened attentions—as fitfully as the memory of a hashish dream–with its clownish managing director, M Bozonnet, pulling the play of one of our greatest living playwrights from its 2006-2007 program.
