It's sad . . . or, no, I dunno what it is. But when guys like Adams, here, weigh in on issues they've got nothing but stale, dated information on--Adams supported the Gourevitch/RPF/Tutsis as the martyred Jews of Africa version of events from the jump--since October 1990 he's been all about Stopping the Fucking Tutsi Genocide. Now that the ICTR--the court where Chris has worked the past decade (and that Chris is a working international defense lawyer on this brief has always seemed to frost Adams)--has ruled on a number of occasions (Military I, the Zigiranyirazo judgement that wiped out the 'Little House' genocide theory) against his particularly threadbare notion of what happened in Rwanda--not to mention the judgements of Spanish and French courts of inquiry on his heros' guilt--in typical American know-nothing style, Adams gets pissed and resorts to ridicule, allusions to popular culture, District 9 and some Tim Allen or Whoopee Goldberg movie (just a guess on that Santa riff!), that only make him seem even more pathetic for his lack of self-consciousness. Some time ago Adams asked to be taken off the CM/P mailing list and I gladly accommodated him--only after explaining to this self-described communications expert the expedient uses of the 'delete' key on his computer. So I'm at a loss to figure out how he got this post, and even more how he managed to post a comment--only the 20th comment in the nearly 6-year history of this blog. Unless . . . Nah. Even Adams isn't stupid enough to pal around with Ollie Kamm. . . . Or is he? --mc
